Trip to the springs in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma

On Sept 24, 2011, we had a trip planned to Tulsa for a karate tournament- so we loaded up our carboys and stopped by the spring afterwards.  Hands down, this is the best spring water we have found in our area.  Slightly acidic at 6.20 pH (more refreshing), low 90 ppm, and temperature of 65.6 degrees.   It is a little farther than we like to drive for just water, but this spring was just perfect.

We really enjoyed the friendly “spring cat” who came out to socialize with us while we were there.   The fellow filling his jug before us had mentioned that there used to be a spring on an old family farm between Collinsville and Claremore, but the flow rate was even less than this one.   While we were filling up our 30 gallons of water, we did notice a car or two driving back and forth on the road, as if they were waiting for us to finish, so that they could have a turn at collecting their water.  This was a popular place!  Really loved this water.
